The school organizes numerous events in the context of celebration and education. Various departments in the school carry out many more events like funfairs, competitions, contests, workshops, etc. Every event is an opportunity for the child’s skills and talents to come up. All the events in the school are carried out with great enthusiasm by students, teachers, and Management. The main events of the school include:

Independence Day: Celebrating Freedom, Unity and Responsibility

The school celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and pride. The National Flag was ceremoniously hoisted, followed by the National Anthem, State Anthem and the complete rendition of Vande Mataram, creating a deeply stirring atmosphere of national pride.

The celebrations continued with inspiring speeches in English, Hindi and Marathi by students from all sections, along with patriotic songs presented by students and teachers. The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, freedom and love for the nation, keeping the patriotic spirit alive and vibrant among everyone present.

Nasha Mukt Bharat: A Pledge for a Brighter Tomorrow

Adding purpose to the celebrations, a vital Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan was undertaken. Police authorities, along with the school heads, led a solemn pledge to inspire the youth to stay away from drugs and make responsible choices. The initiative carried a powerful message: “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Dreams – A Drug-Free Youth, A Stronger India.”

The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to nurture responsible, aware and patriotic citizens who will contribute to a healthier and stronger India.

Investiture Ceremony & P.T.A. Felicitation Programme - 18th July, 2026

Children Welfare Centre High School solemnly conducted its Investiture Ceremony on 18th July, 2026, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The occasion symbolised the school's steadfast commitment to nurturing leadership, integrity, discipline, and a spirit of service among its students. The office bearers were ceremonially invested with badges and sashes, signifying the responsibilities entrusted to them. The Principal administered the oath of office, inspiring the young leaders to discharge their duties with dedication, fairness, and unwavering commitment. The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, heralding the beginning of a promising tenure of exemplary student leadership.

Children Welfare Centre High School hosted a graceful P.T.A. Felicitation Programme on 18th July, 2026, to honour the newly elected Parent-Teacher Association members. The event reaffirmed the school's belief in fostering a strong and enduring partnership between parents and educators in shaping the holistic development of every child. The newly elected members were warmly welcomed and felicitated as valued collaborators in the institution's educational journey. The programme concluded with a renewed resolve to work collectively towards academic excellence, character building, and the continued progress of the school community.

Secondary & Jr.Clg Investiture Ceremony

"Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other". The investiture ceremony is the occasion on which we convey our reliance and confidence to our students and repose trust in them. The house captains, vice-captains, head boy, and head girl take oaths and are assigned to their duties. The ceremony consists of dance and singing performances too. The house flags are set out by the house and vice-captains, the school flag is presented to the head boy and head girl. The students step out with holding up their flags, marching, and conveying reverence.

Field Trip

Field trip to Versova Police Station (learning outside the classroom) to gather information about different kinds of weapons and their uses.
